With this EP I shifted focus from aspiring to all-encompassing tracks that gave unique takes on universal ideas towards a collection of smaller tracks that take on very specific feelings and moments, that together, sketch around the edge of something bigger. It therefore uses a collection of different soundscapes and compositional approaches that complement and juxtapose one another. It was made entirely in Ableton, and features a variety of sounds, including synthesis, piano, my voice, and on all of the tracks, processed field recordings of the sea, rivers and radio static.
